John F. Kennedy's Life (Final Draft

November 1963,

Dear Governor Conally,
I am coming to Dallas, Texas tomorrow. I am coming to settle the Democratic Parties' outrage. For now, I want you to keep them as quiet as possible. The reason I want you to do this is so they do not encourage the other states' Democrats to rebel as well. It is best that the states are all under the control of the government for this is a glourious day for the United States and its allies for we have won a great many wars.

I wish you luck on keeping Texas quiet and trying to keep them contained, we don't need destruction in your state. Thank you for your cooperation, Governor Conally, it will help our newly reformed country a great deal. Our goal for world peace is close at hand. With Vietnam's dictator gone, Russia as our ally and Cuba's surrender, we can breathe again, at least for a monment.
Your Sincerely,
President John F. Kennedy.

Please tell me what you think. Give me as much feedback as possible, even though it was my final draft I would like to know what my peers think!

  1. I think this piece is pretty good how you wrote it. I liked the phrase, "Russia as our ally and Cuba's surrender, we can breathe again," and how you used it there to kind of switch it up. It may have been a little better if you made it a bit longer. But, overall, you did really well. :)

  2. I really like the way you presented this information. I really like how you get this person's perspective on the topic, not just the general side of the story. Overall, I think you did a pretty good job on this.
